Your gift helps us launch a new kind of healing space in Phoenix—one that treats emotional wellness with the same seriousness we treat physical fitness.
A portion of every founding gift goes directly toward trauma-healing art sessions for children, so they can begin processing pain and building emotional resilience in a safe, loving environment.
David and Angela founded Darash Ahava Foundation ("to seek love") to heal disconnection in our community. After serving 1,753+ people through mobile programs like Brushstrokes of Emotion, they're ready to create a permanent healing sanctuary.

Your certificate becomes active when the Gym for the Soul opens in Phoenix. Our current target date is June 1, 2026. If timelines shift, we'll keep all Founding Members updated by email, and your certificate will still be honored.
The certificate gives you 2 months of membership at the Gym for the Soul (regularly $90/month). During those 2 months, you'll have access to eligible classes such as Brushstrokes of Emotion, emotional skills groups, and select community healing events. Final class menus may evolve, but we'll always ensure you receive at least $180 in usable class value.
Yes. Your healing-class gift certificate is fully transferable. You can keep it for yourself or gift it to a friend, family member, client, or anyone you believe would benefit.
Our full intention and plan is to open the Gym for the Soul in Phoenix. If timelines change or circumstances shift, we will: Keep Founding Members informed by email, and honor your certificate either at our own center or through approved partner programs offering equivalent healing classes or sessions. Your donation will still support our mission of bringing emotional healing and trauma support to those who need it most.
Darash Ahava Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Because you receive a significant benefit (a $180 class credit) in connection with your gift, the tax-deductible portion of your donation may be limited. Tax rules vary by situation, so please consult your tax advisor to determine how much, if any, of your gift is deductible for you. We will update this section with more precise guidance once our CPA finalizes the recommended treatment.
